“Making a Difference / A Difference in Making” – 3D Printing exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen
The Red Dot Design Museum Essen in Germany presents the exhibition “Making a Difference / A Difference in Making”. The collection brings together pioneering 3D-printed works of art, design, engineering and science. The exhibition was curated by Marta Malé-Alemany, architect and recognized researcher in the field of digital fabrication technologies, and produced by Materialise, a 3D printing company based in Belgium.

The Ai stool was designed and produced in 2005/6 and was one of the first objects to be produced using a combination of Artificial intelligence and AM tools (3D printing)

Reworkit Project @Selfridges
Assa had lots of fun in transforming a chair for the charity event curated by Fair & Co. The chair, called bungee and rolling pin, is on display at Selfridges and it will be auctioned in aid of The Art Room, a charity for children who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Make Yourself Comfortable Exhibition at Chatsworth House
Hosted by the 12th Duke and Duchess at the wonderful Chatsworth House and together with a great group of designers, Assa’s 501 chairs will be exhibited at the Make Yourself Comfortable at the Chatsworth Exhibition.

Pushkin State Museum Exhibition Moscow
Open now in Moscow, the exhibition “British Design: from William Morris to the Digital Revolution” at Moscow’s great Pushkin Museum.
The show is organised and curated by a great young team that are establishing a new Russian Design Museum, a contemporary design wing within the Pushkin sate Museum great art tradition. the team is focusing on collecting and preserving great Russian design history, while promoting contemporary design for the first time.
We are very excited to take part in this pioneering show and will present some studio objects among famous pieces from William Morris and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. If you are in Moscow you can’t miss it. Assa will be there on the 25th of November to give a talk about “User informed objects”.

Assa talk at 3D print show London, friday september 5th at 3pm
The talk will focus on some of the new digital tools we have developed at www.digitalforming.com in particular highlighting the benefits within this new circular digital workflow. We will present an array of technicians and forms of 3D interactions, design and manufacturing. a new project with stratasys multi colour and multi material will be discussed.
